Update - May 12, 2008
We have just been set up to do Mesa Boogie warranty and we'll soon also be stocking Mesa branded tubes.  Come take advantage of our superior service and faster turnaround time.

As costs continue to increase, it is becoming a real struggle to hold our labor charges constant.  We regret that starting immediately, our minimum labor/deposit charge will increase from $45 to $50.  This will still be deducted from the final bill on any work done.  For now we will not increase our hourly labor rate.  You may also notice an increase in the price on some new tubes.  This is apparently due to inflation in the countries where the tubes are produced and because of the fall in the value of the US dollar.

Turnaround time is 3 to 5 business days.

We could always use another part time intern.  College credit might be available in some cases.  Please contact me for more info or stop by the shop and fill out an application.

Update - May 15, 2007
The new Andrews A-22 amps are here!  Come by the shop and try one out.  If you really want to put one through it's paces, bring your axe on Tuesday or Thursday night after 6:00pm.  Click Here for more info about the new amps.  We also now have our first batch of extension cabinets for the Andrews heads.

Turnaround time is currently about 3-5 business days.

Please check out our changing list of consignment items.

Update - December 8, 2005
We have many different speakers in stock, both new and used and we give you a chance to try before you buy.  Many people are surprised at the drastic differences in tone from one speaker to another.  Come in and try out any in-stock 12" speaker in one of our demo cabinets with your amp and guitar.  This way, you won't get stuck with a speaker you don't like.
Turnaround remains about 1 week or less for most amps.

Update - August 2,  2005
We are now accepting ALL tube amps.  Although we are still specializing in vintage amps, we are also accepting newer PCB type tube amps for service.

The following is a list of what we do and do not work on.

We DO work on all tube-type guitar and bass amps, all makes and models, new and old.  Vintage amps are still our specialty.  We can also be talked into doing an occasional vintage stomp box depending on the model.

We DO NOT  work on the following amps.

Any solid state amps.

Hybrid amps (part solid state and part tube) - We do make a few exceptions (Music Man, for example).  We also can add a power amp input to some amps with solid state preamps and tube power amps.  This allows you to use an outboard preamp and still utilize your tube power amp and cabinet.
